Bluebells and beech trees

Today, despite the cats and dogs weather, we had a fabulous tour of gardens around the Angus area. Starting at Pitmuies, on to Dunninald Castle (pictured), then a garden centre followed by Gallery Garden and Newtonmill House.

We were even lucky enough to be entertained in most of them with refreshments/lunch etc.

Such a privilege - wonderful woodlands and stunning walled gardens - such a lot of love and hard work has gone into them over years.

This evening it was back for a dinner party with some of our local garden openers. Back in my four-poster and setting an early alarm as we’re heading up to Fochabers first thing.
