Joy and cherishing

Neck less sore this morning thank goodness. Nice chat over breakfast about off the grid life, VG’s newly established passion for drawing and painting, marmalade making and dying cats (again....since he’s still clinging on).
Spent the morning at a Board meeting discussing vision and mission statements (should the word ‘joy’ be included? - not only the Dundonians were unsure!) then back east on the train. Some discussions about strategic plans here too...this time wondering about ‘cherish’. Hmm....
Some warm-hearted discussion and chat about awards and newsletters before an inaugural lecture then home for a quiet evening sheltering from some dreadful dreich weather...cold, wet, grey and windy...yuk!
