Who would have thought . . .
. . . that a lifeboat station would have architectural value? This structure sits out on its own off the little fishing port of Fuseta in the eastern Algarve. I have to photograph it every time I visit. The sun was out and the breeze was up, making for a lovely day on the coast.
The extra is a stork which we saw on the park at the Ria Formosa; I think it's the first one I've seen on the ground.
