The Gull and Spool

Another in my occasional series of good names for a British pub. Today, the Gull and Spool.

Is it a very large gull, or a small spool? The extra suggests that it is a very large spool indeed! The  EEMSLIFT NELLI is a Dutch registered "heavy load carrier".
