Broadband capers

Here’s the fitter fitting broadband upgrade and relay to barn. I guess this very hilly country has advantages in terms of point to point radio wave broadband. Surprised it’s nit been developed in parts of UK but maybe topography and landline dominance has stopped new entrants? Or regulators?
