A bird in the hand - and one on the cliff!

Last week I was on the Isle of Mull and I bought this little owl - made of cow horn, mounted on antler, it is just 2inches high. To be accepted for Blipfoto the photo was taken today.
The extra was taken last week but I could not Blip it on the day  - it shows another bird - but this was real and nearer 2 feet than 2 inches! It would have been nice to see this White Tailed Sea Eagle actually in action but it was a real thrill to see it at all - and perched on the cliff it presented an easier photo subject. The shot was from a boat with maximum zoom and then cropped. Fantastic camouflage!
