A day of two halves. Tuesday.
I know all days have two halves, but this one started out with some sunshine, although chilly.
Hubby drove us to the Bistro in Sutton Park, for a coffee and afterwards we had a stroll round Blackroot Pool.
There were not many people about, just the odd few.
The pedal boats had been put out once more, ready for early summer. Photo in extras.
Last year's Bank Holiday Monday had been the hottest on record.
It won't have broken any this year!
It was growing increasingly cloudy as the morning wore on.
Once we were home again I took a photo of the colourful border in the garden.
After lunch a friend came to visit. We sat in the summerhouse with a cup of tea as the sky was filling in with darker clouds.
She came with me on my 15 minute circuit of the neighbourhood alongside the school boundary.
Nurse in Charge had gone for a ride on his bike.
We all coincided at the front door on our return..
More cups of tea, a shower of rain, and now feeling tired.
It will be an earlier bedtime this evening.
