More Pottering!

I wasn't sure I was meant to be going to todays course so texted The Potter as I was walking Oscar. I'd just had a reply saying she'd love to see me but my pots were not yet dry when Lo! She and her Weimanarar Otto apperaed behind us! So walked and chatted as the two dogs played! Turns out her daughter taught at the same school as me! But she left as she felt she was getting no support! She now teaches in Kuala Lumpur!
There were 3 other people on the course - one who wanted her pot to look like it came from M&S ! The Potter told her her she'd better just go buy from there as her pot would never resemble that and that was the point of the course - individual pots! They obviosly know each other well as she was fine with this! Turns out her husband had 2 bicycle accidents and two fractured head injuries - the more serious one meant he didn't recognise her for a year, he thought she was a social worker visit8ng him. Now recovered but no longer able to work as an engineer, he has no filter on what he comes out with in company!
The other two ladies were making plaques - really not my style or taste! I made another thumbpot and then decided to try imprinting leaves on a slab pot - we'll see how successful that was when it's dry! Another relaxing session - apart from Otto going AWOL at one point as her husband left the gate open! Apparently he goes down into the village and unless returned by someone will make his way back after 2-3 hours - I'd be frantic! The Potter was worried he would cause an accident on the road but her husband went off shopping and she was still leading the course. I did look up and down the road when I left hoping to spot him!
