View from the golf course

This is the view from the 11th fairway at Cockermouth Golf Course, looking across to the Lorton Valley, Melbreak and Buttermere.

We got caught in a heavy April shower on the 14th hole...soaked to the skin!

Home now, writing this having had a hot bath!

We had a super blipmeet this morning! Tryards called in for coffee and scone ( freshly made by Ros ). They were married in Cockermouth, several moons ago, but now they live in the midlands. We put the world to rights...it was great to catch up!
