Snuggling up!

I don't often see ducklings having a rest hour .... they are usually scooting about on the water like wee jet propelled missiles.

Tuesday is a very busy day but I just had to take a few minutes to check on the baby boom up at the loch. There are three wee mallard ducklings but one was rooting about among the vegetation and mum was busy preening her feathers. Dad .... long gone from the nursery!

Rather a wet day.  I don't own an umbrella so when the rain started my hood and not a brolly goes up.
