Trans Canada Trail

We walked part of the Trans Canada Trail in Glenore (also known as Deerholme) where we saw deer, elk, wolf and bear tracks in the snow. People had not walked that section of the trail because the snow was at least ten centimeters deep. Quiet in the forest.

The trail follows the former Canadian National Railway that went from Victoria to the town of Youbou on Cowichan Lake.
