IT WAS WET ( but Newcastle United got 3 points)

Today it has rained from morning till night. Rotten heavy rain. If I hadn't already bought a ticket for the match I would probably have stayed in. My blip shows the bus stop where I caught the bus to town. Not my usual bus stop - my usual one has no shelter so I went around the corner to this one. Bus was on time but it took ages to get into Newcastle due to heavy traffic.

When I got to St James Park the place was soaked - all the seats were wet so I had a damp bottom for the duration of the game. Sitting in the front row there was no protection from the rain so I got wetter and wetter. Not very pleasant. However the good news is that Newcastle United won. Yes they actually won.

Match finished around 5pm and afterwards I popped into Marks and Spencers - food dept - and Waitrose. Neither were really busy.

Neil's rugby match was cancelled - waterlogged pitch - so he went to a friends house to watch the Newcastle game. This evening he has gone drinking in Newcastle. Might help deaden the pain from having those teeth out.
