I have yet to see the spider

which lives here but I wonder how many insects have suddenly found themselves trapped in its web and being dragged inside.   It sits under a rail on our fence and much of the year is hidden by raspberries but there's no doubt it is always inhabited.  Maybe one day I will get to see the inhabitant.
