Blood, sweat and tile adhesive

My brother and nephew have been here since early yesterday morning and wonders have been worked! Mainly by my brother, with a little help (and, I have to admit, hindrance) from me and the teenager. It's been so difficult - nothing in this house is standard - so it took all of yesterday to lay half the floor and plumb in the toilet. Today we've done the shower - sort of - and the sink, and the floor's down.

Tomorrow I need to tile the rest of the shower and, hopefully, stain the floor. On Wednesday when I get home it's the grouting and another coat of paint, then my brother will come back to put the shower back.

After that there'll still be things to be done, but at least I'll have a functioning bathroom woo hoo!

My brother has worked tirelessly, for two solid days, in spite of a stinking cold, to get things to this point, and I love him loads for it - and for lots of other reasons too :-)
