Rainy Saturday

I didn't actually set foot outside the house today - this is the view 'up the bank' from the window of the upstairs room we use as our 'home office'.

There was nothing to tempt me outside today - it was one of those damp, overcast winter days when it never really gets light (the counterpart to those summer twilit nights when it never gets really dark).

You might want to make the comparison with the same view taken on 5th December 2010, showing the damage that recent snowfalls had done to some of the trees on this bank.
