Schools Out

Today was the last school day for all 12th and 13th class pupils in Magdeburg.
As every year they gathered in the Stadtpark to party.
Almost 3000 pupils were there - most of them with funny costumes.

When they saw me with my camera many pupils wanted to have their group pictures taken (these typical party pictures). I agreed under the condition that I could take portraits as well. In almost every case the very fun poking and acting pupils in the group became shy when they were in front of the camera solely by their own.
