Two Faces

of Officialdom.

Took a picture of the lights in Castle Mall, a maybe blip. Immediately assailed by Security,
"I'm sorry Sir, no photography in the Mall."
What!!! I just smiled and said "The worlds gone mad." He still made me delete the photo.

So no mean Mall for you (I hate them anyway) but a traditional Department Store, Jarrolds. The archetypal old-style store which sells almost everything .... and if they don't have it then Thorns, opposite, will!

The other face of Officialdom? The Traffic Warden circling the car when I got back from dropping the girls at the Mall cinema.
"Am I over time?"
" Yes, Sir but we're allowed to give you five minutes over and you've a minute to spare."
