Purple dead nettle

I think, anyway. Apparently it's a member of the mint family and is edible (but I take no responsibility for any adverse effects if you do try to eat it!).

A cold and often wet day when I spent most of my time trying to bring my mind to bear on some financial matters which have gone wrong. I didn't succeed in sorting them out, but I made some progress when I actually got down to it.

I did a quick visit to Craiglockhart Pond and Blackford Pond to check on cygnets, but no sign yet on either.
