Kayaking on the Tay

What a busy day us three have had!

Started this morning with a drive up towards Glen Lyon stopping off at the Lawers Dam. We crossed the dam on foot but L got a midgie stuck in her eye so we had to get back to the car. Finally managed to pluck the wee tadger out before parking up north on the Lochan na Lairige road and had so much fun jumping back and forth across the many little streams.

Back to the caravan park for lunch at the on site cafe before exploring in the woods between the caravan park and Loch Tay.

We then headed into Killin and hired a kayak quattro and we headed out on the river Tay adjoining the head of Loch Tay. Lots of fun on the boat, weather was stunning at this point and we could feel ourselves almost getting burned.

Back to the caravan park as the girls wanted to play in the park and help feed a baby lamb the farmhouse are looking after as its mother couldn’t manage.

We had dinner in the Lochay Hotel before headed to the Falls of Dochart to play some more but had to cut short as poor A fell in and got soaked up to her waist.

Back to the caravan where the girls are in their onesies and playing in their room.
