Lakeland Festival of Light
A day of walking - LOTS!
Drove over early to Martindale and took a walk up Fusedale (See mono extra, which was almost my main pic). Then spent the afternoon in Keswick before an early fish & chip supper. Then we gathered at the Rawnsley Centre in Keswick with about 1000 other people and walked through Portinscale and up Catbells. After the sun set, and darkness fell, everyone lit torches, head torches, and lit up the fells.
So far they raised £15,600 - which is a great figure.
By the end of the day, Deb and I had walked 15.6 miles, and eventually got home just after 1am (A lie-in is called for!)
