Bank Holiday walk

The church walk today was wonderful. Katie worked really hard this morning so that we’d have time to enjoy the picnic and walk, and we were both very glad we did. Lovely friends of ours have joined the church and are starting to settle in, we are loving having them share in church life.

After the walk, Katie and I had a bit of movie time before she did the most epic of bassoon practises. I could not get her to stop! I did eventually suggest it was time to finish after over 90 minutes. That’s some puff for little lungs. B is off on her travels again and on this flight was bizarrely able to message from the plane for free, so Katie really enjoyed chatting with her before practise. B messaged me a bit later on and couldn’t believe Katie was still playing!
