Ego trip to Shanty town

Went to a meeting in SHanty Town today, an old goldmining place that has been turned into a museum, bit like Beamish and Ironbridge for those Brits amongst you. Went for a wander at lunch and found my namesake everywhere. Hannah's shoes are still going strong in NZ but up until today I had never known whether it was a surname or a womans first name - well today I can claim it for my own - as is the surname ( and thus the same as mine). Founded in 1858 by Robert Hannah - my nephew :-) well his name anyway!
