Lock the doors

The University shuts for a week at Christmas. The doors are closed and the alarms are set. There's no going back until the new year - even if I wanted to.

It's a wonderful time to relax and forget about work. Work is in stasis. Nothing happens between 21st December and 2nd January. We make no plans and do a great deal of nothing.
