Just the ticket!

A purchase from yesterday's bus rally was a selection of rare old North East 'rack and clipper' bus tickets.  I'm really chuffed with this find as they are no longer easily acquired.  There was a time in the 60's when I used to go around scrapyards, seek out the oldest vehicles and scrat about under the back seats and in the ticket boxes and find many treasures.  My ticket collection is still kept in a 1963 school 'lab book' (it was wasted as a chemistry book).  Fortunately this attractive collection only takes up one space on the bookshelf and I don't think MrsDB knew of its existence until yesterday!

The extra today shows more of my tiny collection.  I wish I had more time to develop it but I've left it too late now, most tickets are in established collections.
