New place for breakfast- Toast in Leith. Nice and bustling. Looked around a bathroom showroom- too much choice whilst at the same time having quite a few styles D didn’t like. Got a few ideas (very enthusiastic salesperson helped!) so think things are starting to be narrowed down. Drove over Peebles for a mooch around the shops - nice small town with a lovely community feel. Lovely bed this traditional iron mongers shop. Too cold to walk along the river though so came back via shopping centre to look for swimming costumes for D. Lovely dinner (Sardinian ravioli and swordfish) in the Sardinian restaurant around the corner and then down the road to Queens Hall for Celtic and Scandinavian folk music. Inge Thomson was my favourite though Swedish trio were really good too - a close call!
