Christmas in my kitchen

Little wooden hearts from Scandinavia hanging from a cupboard in my kitchen, on the other cupboards there is a wooden Hare (of course) and a white dove, and just now the rest of my tiny kitchen is full of shopping bags which contain necessary items for the next few days (just in case T is not feeling well enough to travel south on Monday) - if you had been visiting our local supermarket today you would have thought that it was going to be shut for the foreseeable future - it was murder in the aisles and several incidents of trolley rage were witnessed!

Santa's little helpers, the local air Cadets, were out in force though to help us pack our bags which was very helpful without the practical bag-packing expertise of himself!!
