Eyes For Good Luck

Hello everyone, sorry i missed the blip yesterday. Im kind of sad i did, but i worked really late and my camera died. Anyways im back and hopefully won;t miss many more days.

These beads are my prayer/worry/luck beads that i bought while in Greece at a pottery shop on the side of the road. The beads are formed just like a rosary/prayer beads but this is not a rosary. One is supposed to carry it around and rub them when worried. And the beads themselves are each an eye. The eyes of the goddess Athena's owl. Thus a symbol of wisdom and protection. The eyes are said to bring good luck to those who carry them.

Although the photo is in black and white the beads are acctually blue and white. Man, do i miss Greece.
