Dolly and Trix the tyrannosaurus

We went to see Trix the tyrannosaurus rex on display in Kelvin Hall. I was insanely chuffed to get to see a real t-rex fossil, not something I expected to see as she is one of only two in Europe. She lived a hard life, she has four teeth marks in her jaw that show she was bitten, she has fractures on her ribs too.Here is a link to some more info about her. She is impressvive to see, I would recommend a visit to see her before she heard back to the Netherlands where she will live permanently.

We also popped across to the Kelvingrove museum to see Dippy before he left. Sadly Dippy is a cast, but still amazing to see the size in real life. I loved how long his tail was, it came to an incredibly narrow point. There was also a Leonardo DaVinci exhibition on there which was really great to see too.
