Golden road
This evening Miss T has gone to the cinema with her friend and as we dropped her off decided to drive down to the west coast to see if we could watch the sunset. It was quite golden and the sea shimmered nicely making a golden road to the horizon.
After the sun had dipped we decided to go and see how our son's duck pond was progressing. (most people build a wildlife pond, he is building one for the ducks ;) We had helped earlier in the day as it is rather large and needed several people to help to get the liner out of his van and help to get it in place. He has a borehole for water and had started filling it this afternoon. It was almost full, although there is plenty of work to do yet!
We saw he had decided to burn the last bits of fencing offcuts too, there was a roaring fire going, the Cockatoo birds watched with interest from their aviary.
The lambs were also out in the garden this afternoon as it was warm and sunny, they are becoming super friendly. The youngest tiny one's name has now changed to Will as he no longer has a rumpled skin!
