consolation hare

I was watching a nuthatch this morning on a feeder. One minute it was there then the next it was gone. A sparrowhawk had swooped down and snatched him. I didn't get a chance to get a photo as i was too shocked. 
So this evening, rather than post a pic of the said nuthatch i went hare hunting again and i wasn't let down. Lots were out and about playing as were the gnats except they weren't playing they were busy biting.
