Hosta Explosion
It’s been a ‘good drying day ‘today which is just as well as we seem to have brought home far more clothes than we took with us on our trip. (Not guilty!)
This morning good friends popped in for coffee and, although we sat in the garden in sunshine, it was a tad nippy.
We joined family for an 80th birthday celebration this afternoon, down the coast at Noss Mayo. Throughout lunch we all had to keep an eye on the turning tide because the pub’s car park is actually part of the estuary. Photos on the pub’s walls depict poor unfortunate cars which had been parked too long and very soggy, to say the least, when their owners returned.
So, after all this activity, you know what!
8pm and no blip!
My hostas have had quite a growth spurt while we’ve been away. In fact the whole garden has been on steroids.
I do love this time of year and will, no doubt blip some of the more colourful characters in the garden in the near future but, for today it’s just a little corner bed crammed with hostas and ferns.
