It hoovers up

We had a parcel arrive yesterday with some polystyrene in it - the boys got hold of it this morning and had such fun pulling it to pieces.  The husband and I looked at each other, decided it was harmless fun, and that the hoover would sort it all out.  

We had an appointment this morning to go and see some family pictures that were taken last weekend.  I cried seeing them (because they are so lovely). We came away having spent rather more than intended and have reversed the decision to go to a ball next month as we can no longer afford it! 

Rest of the day was spent in the garden, which we all find such a fantastic tonic to life.  

A  good day all round (especially as I had a lovely run this morning).
