Birdsong.....

This robin seemed a happy little chap and his singing gave me a lift;  birdsong was something I used to take for granted but it doesn't seem  as commonplace as it used to be which is one of the reasons I really appreciate it.  It's been a quiet day for us, we went out to a local Italian restaurant for lunch and then walked along the canal before coming home again - nothing too exciting but very enjoyable.
