Candle

Yet another day spent in the living room, still filling gaps around the woodwork - and there are more to fill tomorrow. (And I thought yesterday that I had almost finished that 'little' job! Surely there can't be many more...) Considerable progress though - MrM was persuaded to fit the piece of wood around the top of the chimney breast, and it looks great.

Walked to John C's early evening for a meal, and on the way passed several chestnut trees in flower, their candles swaying in the wind. At John's, we were joined by O and V - an enjoyable evening with good company, and delicious food and wine. Eventually rolled home to bed in the wee small hours...
