A really wild and wet day here. Stuart volunteered to brave the elements alone so no dog walk for me. This is very unusual and I think I'm missing my daily blast of fresh air. Although seeing the state of him when he got home maybe I was lucky....
The dogs seemed to have managed to ignore the gales and rain and are looking very pleased with themselves. They are all snoozing and exuding that lovely soggy dog aroma.
A busy baking day was had though. L made some very tasty beer bread and is keen to make it again and maybe add herbs next time. Sounds good to me! And I got the neighbours Christmas baking done, packaged up and it's being delivered as I type. This years parcels have choc chip cookies, empire and Swiss biscuits, ginger biscuits and Malteser slice. Another tick on my list!
And yes there's some left for here too!
