Cuban Sandwich

Cuban sandwich from Burning Buns food truck, and This Time It’s Personal DIPA at Asylum Brewing.

The cuban sandwich and I were both born in Tampa, Florida. I have rarely encountered them outside of Florida, and this is the only one I have with the right flavors—it is wonderful. I have to track this truck down every now and them to get my fix.

The Cuban sandwich is a grilled sandwich with slow roasted pork, ham, white cheese (provolone, swiss, etc.), dill pickle, and yellow mustard. It is served on Cuban bread, which is a long, soft sandwich loaf.
