Good cheer

Went into town with Mhairi to do a bit of shopping, and wondered if we might see some of the independence march taking place. Well, it was a bit hard to miss! Organisers claimed 100,000 people, it certainly went on for a while. It was very good natured, minimal police presence, mainly for stopping traffic. I was a bit worried when Mhairi, who had moved across to get a better photo, texted to say she had ended up at George Sq, 'next to the union jacks' but the square was nearly empty,  and it was all very peaceful.
