Sunset, Le Louvre, Abu Dhabi

A simply magnificent structure, work of art, experience. Go, even if you don’t like art. Go because it’s a grand space that will move you. It’s sound, light, views, angles, water and reflections. I spent more than an hour taking it all in before I visited the galleries. The collection is intelligently arranged thematically; something to make you see connections across continents and cultures. Beautifully presented with inspiring quotes on glass walls in English, French and Arabic.

I visited the gallery late afternoon after a lay morning at my friend’s house, then lunch with her before I took the bus back up to Abu Dhabi. After the exhibition I checked into the hotel before two days of training. A good day.
