Leaving Home

Today my last child flew the nest, I feel a bit emotional, not sure why, Tom often 'stayed away' mainly on weekends and spent three years at uni, but now he's renting a very nice, fairly new, flat in a block on Clopton Road, Stratford.  Along with his girlfriend Rachel we helped shift some of his stuff and settle him in.

I took the picture from across the Birmingham Road by the canal which runs alongside the block, as can be seen there is 24 hour emergency food on hand if required.  The people are watching a boat go through the lock.
