I've had Charlie for the day today and what a wonderful time we've had too.   He 'helped' me plant up some Pansies in tubs and take some weeds out of a small 'vacant' plot in the garden.   Then we went for a long walk around the lanes and countryside in the village and got absolutely drenched in the sudden heavy showers we've had throughout the day.
After we had dried out we collected Maddie from her Saturday job at a garden nursery.   Back home to my son's where I stayed for dinner,    when I left a little while ago Charlie was sending up zzz's and snoring contentedly.
