A walk at Thirlmere first thing.  Misty and her friend did a little paddling but it was so cold I didn't want them in the water for too long.  Walked along this road back to the car.  Its been closed to traffic for at least a year following hundreds of trees falling down in strong wind.  Wonder when it will reopen.  

Drove home via Caldbeck as thought it would be great to get a shot of Skiddaw covered in fresh snow.... but it had all gone by the time I got there.
