WWT London: Picking Daisies
More irresistible in large
Extras:
Red-breasted goose against daisies
Nēnē is surrounded
Escape flight (1/3)
Curious falcated duck
My mother and I went to WWT London in the early afternoon; we had sunshine and heavy rain (so the changing light was fun photographically), but the birds didn't seem to mind... The emperor geese were on most adorable form, even if their time with their nēnē has made them sufficiently rebellious that they now have their own warning sign on their gate (to deter visitors from abetting their escape attempts...).
Lots of mallard mischief (drakes chasing ducks...) but otherwise pretty peaceful.
Others here (or right from Mandarin duck (m))
