Excitement

Parkrun, supermarket, washing out, lunch, washing in as it started tipping it down.

I couldn't sit indoors however so have been doing odd jobs in the garden / greenhouse depending on the precipitation levels.

One of the jobs was to dig up an old tree fern I thought had died last winter in the 'beast from the east'. Imagine my excitement to see this single green shoot.
