Rhododendron
We walked around a large woodland garden this morning, getting there soon after they opened, so it was very quiet, other than the sound of birdsong and trees in the wind. It was very cold, but a lovely sunny morning, so worth the effort. The rhododendrons were mostly just coming out, and some of the magnolias and camellias were still hanging on in flower. The azaleas were mostly almost fully out, and there were a number of specimens of azalea luteum, which has beautiful scent, not unlike that of lilies. The extras show a few other images from the walk. Time to start using up the extras credit balance.
