Perhaps not the best of today's photos but certainly the brightest. 

I set off to Waterhead (with winter jacket on) along the lower road but then decided to pop up the footpath that links that with the top road. That's where this photo was taken. Given the breeze I'm surprised any turned out ok. 

I was amazed at how many wild flowers there were along the path edges and am still trying to identify one (or two). 

Some interesting lichen patterns is in extras. I had fun spotting them. 

In the morning I washed the car and now the dirt is off I'm horrified at how much paint the neighbours decorator (or odd job man) splashed a few weeks ago while doing the rendering.
