Midweek Frisia - Leeuwarden

The final day of our short holiday in Frisia ended in Leeuwarden, the capital.
We checked out at 10 am and drove 25 km to Leeuwarden.
After a stroll through the town centre we bought tickets for a boat tour on a typical Frisian pram, that lead us through the canals of the city for an hour. The tour guide told all kind of interesting historical facts and combined that with pointing out several details. Very interesting and recommended for anyone who has plans to visit Leeuwarden.

After lunch we got our car from the parking garage and we drove home. At 15.00 hours we were home again and our holidays were over.
There's laundry to be done, and grass to be mowed... and thus we slided into a regular weekend.
