Solace Day 7 -Early Mist

I got up at 6ish this morning to a lovely sunrise which lit up the mist on the canal. We're on the Ashby Canal at the moment and it's very quiet. Not a lot of boats moving.

In the afternoon the clouds gathered and the rain came down. Then the hailstones! The menfolk got really soaked before they could find somewhere suitable to tie up for the night. The sun was unexpectedly soon over the yardarm and we settled in cosily with our whiskies.

After our evening meal the weather was lovely again so The Man and I had a nice walk along the towpath and I eye-up tomorrow's blip!
