Fields of gold

This was last night on our way to the Robin Hood Inn along the Military Rd. Stunning yellow fields as far as the eye can see.

Just reflecting now on the fact that these colours ( yellow & green) were quite symbolic on this day of declaring the local election results.

It had turned a little nippy so it was great to sit by a roaring coal fire for something to eat. A lovely way to mark the end of the working week and the start of the Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK. Hope you all have a good one wherever you are in the world!
