Eiders in the Surf

Out in the afternoon to look for migrants. A walk from Lighthouses Corner along to Sandside Bay and onto the shore north along Sillock Pow, Lea Taing, Whale's Back, Smer Geo, Baki Ber, Geo of Mustack, Kami Geo, Marki Ber to Clett Dunnet (sounds like the character list in Game of Thrones) . Quite bright but a very strong cold wind. I'm surprised any north-bearing migrants got through it. A few bonxies, a pair of raven on territory, 25+kittiwakes north, a few turnstone, single hen harrier and sparrowhawk.
