Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I was booking tickets to see Armistead Maupin this evening thanks to a tip from Auslaender and shouted upstairs* to ask The Youngest Mini Princess if she would like to go. She came to the top of the landing to answer me**, but had obviously forgotten about that little thing called gravity and her chewing gum dropped out of her mouth, narrowly missed my head and splatted on the floor!

That was the most exciting thing that happened today.

Weirdly, I then remembered the German word for chewing gum - kaugummi. If only my O grade German had been about Wrigleys.
